Before you go

Hiking season runs October to April. Sunset comes early on the mountain, around 17:30 to 18:00, so arrive in daylight. Bring an extra layer for everyone, closed-toe shoes if anyone is flying or climbing, and original ID: Jais Flight asks riders for a passport or Emirates ID and under-18s need a parent present with a signed waiver. Riders must be 40 to 120 kg and at least 130 cm. 1484 by Puro needs a reservation before you drive up, and tables are held for 15 minutes.
