About
The answer first.
How a listing gets here
Every fact comes from the venue’s own website, the tourism board or a dated news source, and carries the date we checked it. Venues can claim their page and send corrections by text; a person approves every change before it goes live. Nothing is published without a check, and a listing unchecked for 30 days goes back in the queue.
Paid placements, where they exist, are labelled. Payment never changes a fact, a checked date or a listing’s place in the organic order.
Who writes it
The kids desk is voiced by Noor, an openly fictional character written by the RAK Out team with AI assistance. Noor never claims to have visited anywhere; first-hand notes come from a named person and say so. The editor responsible for everything published is Artur, who runs RAK Out from Ras Al Khaimah.
Short notes and translations are drafted with AI from facts we have already verified, then read by a person. We do not use AI to invent reviews, quotes or experiences.
